I'm a freelance translator for the languages of English/Turkish/German
I'm an Istanbul born native speaker of the Turkish language and I have been living and studying both classical archeology (Freie Universitat Berlin) and Theatre in Berlin Germany for 10 months now.
Even though I have 1 year experience as a freelance translator I was considered very reliable and fast at the job by my superior. I am a very disciplined and attentive translator which compensates my realtively small amount of Professional experience on the field.
I studied the first year of middle school in Miami, Florida United States, which has brought me the first step towards the dominance of the English language. Then I have attended to the German High School (Deutsche Schule Istanbul) in Istanbul and graduated with an Abitur (German exuivalent of SAT) and a C1 level on the German language, Sprach Diplom.
Additonal to a great variety of Professional translation areas in which my translation works are included, such as Medicine, Marketing and Engineering,
my theatre studies in the Istanbul University State Conservatory, familiarity with old theatre texts and my general interest on literature makes my translation talent far more careful, deep and distinctive than just a Word diction. I give importance to adopting the source language into the translation language through staying loyal to the linguistic structure of the translation language at hand.
