Bio
My specialization is subtitling, but I also do translations and transcribing.

I have started a subtitling team and can take on projects of any size.
You can send any job to me and I'll find the resources needed.

I have worked with various agencies and on multiple platforms and programs in subtitling, such as Aegisub, Translation Edit, Ooona, MSX, XTM, and Sfera. I have also done QC/QA/proofreading of subtitles.
Genres I have worked with include drama, medical drama, documentary, wildlife documentary, crime, true crime, reality, and comedy.

My translation experience comes from translating user manuals for medical devices and somewhat from product labels on clothes. I have also done proofreading and review on medical devices.

I have transcribed fifteen batches of 500 words and sentences for voice recognition software installed in cars.

Since May 2022 I have been a part of The Translation Academy's community team, and I am currently also working as one of their in-house translators to and from English to Norwegian.

I've spent ten months in Dublin, Ireland, working as an au-pair for a family with four children, improving my English. I have also lived in Sweden for five months, working as a baker's apprentice.

I studied Norwegian sign language for one year, and during my studies, I did some transcriptions from sign language to written Norwegian. Over six years, I worked as an environmental therapist with deaf and hard of hearing children aged 6-13, whereas I occasionally took on the role of an interpreter when needed.

My latest profession is as a Learning Disabilities Nurse, working with adults and elders in their daily care. I've also worked in several service professions, such as grocery stores and coffee shops.

In my private life, I take an interest in baking, food, and wine, and I love to read books, both in Norwegian and English.
