I am American from New York with Chilean origin. I have been living in Madrid, Spain for the past four years and I currently work in an advertising agency where I have been translating various texts from both English to Spanish and Spanish to English.

I am very familiar with South American Spanish as well as Spanish from Spain, which I would consider completely different languages.

Since I have usually been the only American working among my Spanish colleagues, I haven been placed in charge of editing and proof reading all English texts that go out to clients as well as translate any type of text from Spanish to English going to our collaborator's.

I graduated the University at Albany of New York in May 2003 with a B.A., major in English and double minor in Spanish and Film.
