Hi,
I think I might not be the only one who doesn't like to work home alone everyday. That's why I go to public libraries with my laptop... but still I do not talk to anyone. I have checked the possibility to share an office with other freelancers, but the rent means an extra cost (not very welcomed in these days).
So I was wondering, what if there are more translators like me in Barcelona thinking the same? What if we meet in a library and have the coffee break toghete... See more

So I was wondering, what if there are more translators like me in Barcelona thinking the same? What if we meet in a library and have the coffee break togheter, we share our experiences on this job, we help each other with that word we never manage to solve... we just do not be alone!
If you are one of these, please answer to this post or send me a message. I have sent this idea to other translation groups in Barcelona.
Just imagine this "25 translators meet everyday in a library to work toghether and share their job experiences". I might be dreaming but it is worth trying, isn't it?

I am thinking to move into freelancing full time soon and the issue you raised is one of my concerns. I think I will make a similar invitation where I live for whoever wants to break the barrier of silence that was suffer from everyday.
Thanks for the idea and the invitation, any way.

Hey, if I could hot foot it over to Barcelona, I'd sign up! It's a bit too far for me to commute at the moment though...
