mam raczej wrażenie, że jest to podłoże, które nie zawiera pewnych składników niezbędnych np. do namnażania jakiegoś szczepu lub zawiera składniki hamujące namnażanie jakiegoś szczepu, np. składnik toksyczny przy obecności jakiejś mutacji.
