Nie wiem, czy wrzuciłam w dobry field... Mowa o monitoringu ulicznym w Londynie.

Closed circuit television operators keep an eye open for any suspicious behavior.
They scour countless hours of closed circuit video, searching for glimpses of their suspects.
There are two critical limits to closed circuit surveillance.

O ile wiem, to wyrażenie jest obecnie popularne.

"Telewizja przemysłowa" jest rzeczywiście przestarzałe, poza tym nie pasuje do kamer rozmieszczonych na terenach publicznych (ulice, parki).

"Nadzór w obwodzie zamkniętym" to dosłowne tłumaczenie, czysto techniczne, moim zdaniem nie jest konieczne. "Closed circuit" znaczy, że sygnał nie jest udostępniany do powszechnego odbioru.
