Working with duplicates in Deja Vu X3 Thread poster: Andrey Vinokurov

Hello, I am proofreading a file with lots of duplicated strings, and want to hide them all except 1st occurrences (to proofread them too). Workflow with marking duplicates and SQL filter '(Duplicate = 0)' hides all dupes including 1st occurrences. Is there a way to see 1 original per string and hide all other copies of it? Many thanks in advance! | | | mikhailo Local time: 08:40 English to Russian + ...

mikhailo wrote: Please help to make a filter for segments with spelling errors. AFAIK it is not possible with SQL but you can use the EV RTF file. Using the modified version of DVXEV v_1_1 dot file you can highlight spelling errors and add {spelling error}word{spelling error} tags; e.g. There is a spelling {spelling error}erroor{spelling error} here. Next you can use an SQL filter like Target_XXXX LIKE "*{spelling error}*" The DVXEV v_1_1 file was uploaded to Yahoo Deja Vu group long ago but it seems the file is deleted. I will send you a copy of the file. In this file, two new macros were added for spell checking. Before running these two macros hide all columns except the Target column and make sure hidden formatting symbols are not displayed.

[Edited at 2016-02-24 22:34 GMT] Thanks. Not needed. Free Verifika do it well. May be You now solution for segment separation on tabs for Office Live filter? | | | Selcuk Akyuz Türkiye Local time: 08:40 English to Turkish + ...
mikhailo wrote: May be You now solution for segment separation on tabs for Office Live filter? I don't use the Live filter but the following Segmentation Rules (not Exceptions) may help. Before split: ^$ After split: tab (copy/paste a tab character) Before split: tab (copy/paste a tab character) After split: ^$ ^$ is any letter (lowercase or uppercase), so you may consider adding new rules with ^# as well I am not sure but ^? may catch all Before split: ^? After split: tab (copy/paste a tab character) Before split: tab (copy/paste a tab character) After split: ^? ---------------- Yes, it works even for multiple tab characters, e.g. word1 word2tabtabword3 segmented as: word1 word2 word3
