Dear members,

The ProZ.com dictionary and reference board was created in 2009, with the help of Nikki Graham and Cindy Chadd. It was designed to be a searchable database of dictionaries and other works of reference which may be of use to language professionals, with feedback.

Similar to the Blue Board, members may:

  • post records for works they have used
  • provide feedback entries on records
  • search the database by fields such as title, author, publisher, language pair(s), areas of expertise, etc., to find works which may be of use or of interest for their work.

The dictionary and reference board is maintained by a small team of ProZ.com members, who guide others in using the feature, vet entries and feedback, and coordinate to help make sure entries are as useful or complete as possible.

If you are interested in forming part of this team and performing this kind of activity, the team would be happy to have you! If you are interested, please contact site staff through the support system, http://www.proz.com/support/

As always, thanks to site members for making this kind of feature possible.

    Best regards,

    Jared
