German translation:?? Einnahmennorm ??
Explanation:
"par" is a golf term for "benchmark" / "Maßstab" / "Nominalwert" / "Standardwert" / "Pariwert" / Norm / "Messlatte" / "Leistungsnorm", a figure that is considered to be representative of average performance. "rev" is short for "revenue" = Einkommen / Umsatz / Erlös / Einnahmen, so what they mean together is the normal revenue for a (comparable) hotel of the same class and similar location." I found no Internet sites for "revenue par" in German, which means there must be a widely used translation for the term. Here are some sites in English that provide background but no translation:

http://www.auditnet.org/docs/hotelap.txt

"If property has On Command Video or other system with a percentage commission due the hotel, review last two months' invoices to determine if commission received complies with contract and amount remitted was properly calculated prior to payment. Test for any threshold provisions such as revenue PAR. Include copies of invoices in w/ps.!

http://www.netway.com/~dubois/Hilton.htm

"Dashboard accumulates data from multiple sources, both internal and external, so that managers are able to monitor a property's performance on nine specific measures, such as occupancy versus revenue/par or versus average daily rate. The hotel's measurements are compared against a custom-defined competitive set, all Hilton Hotels in their region, or type of Hilton."

Searching the Internet in German has not been productive so far using combinations of the above translations for "revenue" and "par" plus the word "hotel" but I will submit this suggestion to perhaps trigger other responses. I'll keep looking.

Many thanks for the extensive information!! I've decided to use "Umsatzerloes-Pariwert" on the basis of your explanation - I think this transfers the meaning of the term, even if it isn't the "proper" term in German. Thanks again!

RevPar
Logiserlös pro verfügbarem Zimmer

Explanation:
Hallo,

ich bin bei der Recherche nach einem anderen Begriff auf diese Frage gestoßen.

Und da mir der Begriff schon einmal im Rahmen eines Auftrags begegnet ist, wollte ich die richtige Übersetzung gerne noch hinzufügen.

RevPar steht für "Revenue Per Available Room". Für den besagten Auftrag gab es damals ein Glossar und die gewünschte Übersetzung war "Logiserlös pro verfügbarem Zimmer".
