Contrariamente a quanto suggerito nella risposta scelta nell'altro kudoz, io invece convertirei in ml (1 teaspoon = circa 5 ml, precisamente 4,93 ml). Nei moduli di consenso teaspoon non viene sempre tradotto con "cucchiaini", trovi entrambe le scelte, vedi ad es:

che usa la formula "circa 5 ml" (prima pagina in fondo in basso).

Non credo che le persone che leggono il modulo per il consenso, indipendentemente dalla loro cultura scientifica, abbiano alcuna difficoltà a comprendere e visualizzare "5 ml" (e multipli). Chiunque abbia mai preso delle gocce o fatto un'iniezione si rende conto della quantità.

Il fatto è che "teaspoon" è molto usato nell'inglese scientifico, quindi nei testi in inglese suona perfettamente naturale e non vi è alcuno "scarto" di linguaggio, ma nell'italiano mi sembra più opportuno usare, come per gli altri testi (diagnostica di laboratorio, dosi di medicinali), i ml.
