capitalism haotic - e un mod de a explica aceasta stare care se plaseaza intre socialism (Yeltsin fiind promovatorul socialismului) si capitalism, dar in textul de mai sus ar putea sa fie derutant termenul. (Parerea mea :) )

Scandalurile financiare din ultimii ani, in Statele Unite si in citeva tari vest-europene, au readus in actualitate problemele de ordin etic din societatile avansate, chestiunea eticii comportamentului managerial si a responsabilitatii sociale a marilor corporatii devenind o importanta tema de dezbatere publica. Societatile postcomuniste au oferit si ele un larg cimp de investigatie, in timp ce tarile subdezvoltate sint cunoscute prin fragilitate institutionala si coruptie. Induce oare capitalismul adoptarea unui comportament etic de catre participantii la viata economica sau, dimpotriva, ofera teren fertil lacomiei si rivalitatii agresive? Ar trebui companiile sa fie preocupate de obiective sociale generale sau sa se concentreze doar asupra maximizarii profiturilor? Sint doar citeva dintre problemele abordate de autorii care au contribuit la elaborarea acestui volum, oferind o imagine de ansamblu obiectiva a provocarilor etice cu care se confrunta astazi capitalismul.
