peer agreement (net): +2lower-body mannequiin Explanation: I think this refers to the lower half of the mannequin (and btw I think we would also say 'mannequin' in UK English)- the lower body, from the waist down, specifically for modelling trousers, skirst etc. In other words, I don't think the term "torso" can be used here as it specifically refers just to the lower half of the body, not the torso. The usual term in French seems to be "demi-hanche" or "demi-poitrine" depending on whether you are using the top or the bottom half of the mannequin, see eg what you can buy on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.fr/demi-hanche-demi-poitrine-femme-plexiglas... I'm not sure if there is a different term for this, but the term "lower body mannequin" appears to be widely used and I think would be understood in this context. I also thought of "trouser mannequin" and "half-body mannequin", all of which bring up relevant Google images. They may be used to modelling bras OR panties/underpants, which can indeed be modelled on a demi-buste, but jeans require not a buste but hips and legs. I suspect what they mean is "half-body mannequin (hips and legs)".
