LAS POLÍTICAS SALARIALES, ***RETRIBUTIVAS*** Y DE COMPENSACIÓN

This is a heading in a text about equal opportunities in the world of business. I am not sure how best to translate 'políticas retributivas' in this sentence. I have seen it translated as 'compensation policies' and 'remuneration policies' etc. but since I already have 'compensación' in the title, I can't use the first option. And I'm not sure if the second one would not just be a synonym of the first type of policy.

I think this would cover non-salary items such as perks, benefits, etc. Compensation would have more to do with ending employment.

Asker: Thanks for your answer, Bill! Yes, it's a problem because I really am not quite sure of the subtle differences they are trying to make between these terms. However, 'remuneration' might just cover this one. The term is also used in another sentence in my text, 'políticas retributivas como base de la gestión de la jubilación'. So, I imagine that 'remuneration' would also fit there.

Explanation:
I know two people have already suggested remuneration, but I'm suggesting you translate the whole sentence simply as "remuneration policy".

'Retributivas" and "de compensación" both mean the same thing, and "remuneration" in English covers all three Spanish words.
