În lucrarea de mai sus, sintagma este explicată într-un tabel în felul următor: Working Interests - Interese de explorare şi producţie Exprimă drepturile dobândite de un Operator în activităţi petroliere de a desfăşura acitvităţi de explorare, dezvoltare şi producţie pe perimetre petroliere nominalizate.
