Definitions and Methods of Installation of the Basic Components of the PFT System
Control roomshall be equipped with:
A PFT system control and administration workstation,
A PFT system exchange station (sending and receiving capsules), including a control video screen, which:
displays a pop-up menu for visualization / access to different functions of the station,
is equipped with a capsule tracking status light, duplicating the terminal light,
includes the send control function (acceptance for sending conditioned by presence of a capsule in the station),
includes prior weighting of capsules (configurable and adjustable parameters),
includes exclusion function to prohibit any connection with a toll booth,



Deposit room (or cash-up room)shall include a reception station from which the capsules deposited to the storage or safe intermediate storage/distributor can be withdrawn.



This room shall be equipped with:
A cash up station including a control video screen which can display a pop-up menu for visualization of and access to different functions of the station,
A card reader or PIN code keyboard(1)
Pneumatic capsule storage room, Access-controlled and under CCTV, designed for safe intermediate storage/distributor of pneumatic capsules, shall be located in the secure part of the Toll Plaza building.
The equipment for TP16 shall allow for simultaneous storage of 50 cartridges (3 per lanes + tolerance).
The PFT system technical room designed for installation of the PFT system compressor, shall be located adjacent to the technical gallery, under access control and CCTV.
Toll booth, all equipped with a PFT station with a damper which is used to send and receive capsules.
To perform a command the toll booth is equipped with a send/accept button and an indicator light to signal that:
the network is busy (orange) or ready (green)
there is a malfunction of the station or network (red) (combined malfunction signalization),
The automatic system operation mode allows sending and receiving capsules with the help of the exchange station irrespective of whether or not the system is busy with other transfers at the moment.
Capsules shall be received and sent from below; an interlock system shall also beprovided.
