Sorry, there's not enough space in peer comments to explain the situation here. Having researched the actual equipment here, we find that it is not at all the same thing as a classic refrigeration or chiller plant, as one might find in a conventional HVAC or industrial refrigeration installation.
Here, the 'chiller' unit is more akin (albeit vastly more sophisticated!) to a conventional domestic self-contained aircon unit: it already contains its own closed-circuit condenser / evaporator refrigeration system, and the 'condenser' mentioned in the source text appears to be more of a simply heat exchanger; in certain models of chiller, the fluid connection in fact carries process fluid, not refrigerant. However, I imagine here in this special SUF application there may be some intermediate 'fluide frigoporteur', but which is not refrigerant; if you think about it, it would be awfully inconvenient having a disconnectable refrigerant connection in a system that would normally be pressurized! |
