приветствую, коллеги.

I don't seem to find an idiomatic equivalent of the phrase in ENG.

it's a semi-legal document, where this is just an item of a list, specifying potential recipients of social services:

получатели социальных услуг:
...
- лица в сложных жизненных обстоятельствах, в т.ч. лица, не имеющие медицинских противопоказаний к пребыванию в коллективе;
...

any ideas?

Thanks everyone for your input. Почти все предложенные варианты могли бы подойти, но чуть в другом контексте. В этом смысле сложно выбрать какой-то один, они равноценны.
This time, I went with 'being around other persons'.

"Being arouind other people" is in general, about other (any) people, but something specific would be an ideal fit in here. Somethink like "cohorts".
когорта (группа лиц, объединённых каким-л. общим статистическим признаком) it is sometimes interpreted as "коллектив"
AND "living in collectivistic societies" does not work, as it is not about "collectivism", communism or socialism

about "being around other people" (that is, as a translation, not as a general case:))). Otherwise you run a substantial risk of "living in collectivistic societies" or "belonging to your cohorts". Hehehe:))))

зайти с тыла: without medical indications for quarantine/isolation, и уже тогда не вдаваться в тонкости, оно по смыслу и так понятно, что от людей.

сюда может входить, к примеру, посещение центра социальной адаптации для бывших заключенных, добровольно-принудительное участие в разл. реабилитационных группах, в т.ч. для лечения зависимостей.

нужно что-то максимально нейтральное и обтекаемое.

чтобы по смыслу как "contraindications for being around other people", только более официальное.

stay как глагол мне нравится. что дальше с ним делать-то)
