This is surgery for a patient with congenital flatfoot.

I am trying to find the correct translation of ritensionamento - it is done with sutures in this case. Does it mean tightening, tensioning? Any other ideas? Thanks for your help!

Artrorisi della sottoastragalica con endortesi senotarsica e ritensionamento del tibiale posteriore:
Incisione in corrispondenza del sul seno del tarso. Incisione del sottocute e della capsula.Si eseguono prove crescenti con apposito strumentario, si esegue artrorisi con endortesi Bioarch n. 12.
Incisione cutanea sottomalleolare mediale lungo il decorso del tibiale posteriore. Incisione del sottocute si evidenzia la guaina che viene incisa longitudinalmente. Quindi il tendine viene ritensionato con punti in vicril. Suture, medicazioni ,confezionamento gambaletto gessato per 15 giorni.
