Please stop by to learn some facts about my work that may be of interest to you.

I have graduated from the University of Warsaw, where I was awarded an MA degree in translation and interpreting of specialist texts (main language: German and second language: English).

I have also completed an internship at the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Hamburg (in legal and cultural-scientific department), where I had a great opportunity to support the team organising an exhibition on the outbreak of WW II. My daily duties also included writing summaries of German press articles and rewriting them in Polish, as well as translating and interpreting assignments.

During studies I have been working as a German speaking Consultant for Deutsche Telekom AG. For 3 years I have been dealing not only with the administration of customer accounts, but also with such delicate matters as complaints – where the proper use of words was of great importance.

I have been offering translation services since 2007 but it was after my graduation in 2011 that I decided to move to the United Kingdom and continue my professional career there as a full-time freelance translator. I am pleased to have the chance to cooperate with translation agencies and direct clients regardless of their location.

I am proud to be the member of STP – the Association of Polish Translators and Interpreters, the full professional member of CIOL - Chartered Institute of Linguists, United Kingdom, as well as the member of the Proz.com Certified PRO Network.

I am a detail-oriented person that cares much about the style and correctness of the text. I always complete my tasks on time or earlier and only take up on jobs that I feel absolutely comfortable doing and knowledgeable about. I also treat every job, big or small, very seriously and ensure its highest confidentiality.
I continuously improve my skills to assist my clients in the most competent and effective manner.
