My working languages are Polish (native), English (IELTS band 8), and Italian (level B2). 

I have a background as a graduated musician as well as a translator and interpreter (BA in Italian Philology with Translation Specialisation; MA in Translation Studies) which makes music and art my areas of translation expertise. I have translated two opera librettos and adapted one of them for the stage performance. 

Aside from that, during my 8 years of academic and professional experience, I translated a wide range of texts, such as legal documents (marriage and birth certificates, court bundles), medical (mental health review letters), social services (child protection), police (reports from Police Computer). 

My experience as a Translation Manager in a prosperous translation agency (two years) has taught me the industry specific requirements and allows me to better understand my clients.

I am also a prosperous Polish-English interpreter, with two years of professional experience working as a freelance interpreter and some training gained during the course of my academic education. 

In the future, I would love to get involved in the translation of novels and musical texts.
