Bonjour
je peine à rendre cette phrase de façon amusante. Le contexte : une jeune femme revoit à deux jours d'intervalle un ex qu'elle n'avait pas vu depuis plus de deux ans. La première fois il lui avait expliqué qu'il avait un super boulot qu'il était devenu directeur adjoint dans une boite. Et quand elle retombe sur lui dans la rue deux jours plus tard, elle s'étonne de le voir en costume (ce qui n'était pas son habitude avant). Devant sa surprise il lui dit :
"I told you I was a senio vice president"
Elle de répondre :
-Yes but I think I didn't actually believe it" et se rendant compte de la maladresse de ses propos, ajoute "Sorry, it suonded a lot better in my head", phrase que j'aimerais tourner de façon amusant et naturelle. Merci pour vos idée.
