risk estimate Explanation: risk estimate -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 8 min (2016-01-22 23:51:53 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Risk estimates were in general stronger for the hand-arm region than for the neck-shoulder region, and stronger for mouse use than for total computer use and keyboard use. http://dspace.ubvu.vu.nl/bitstream/handle/1871/15803/8353.pd... |

-------------------------------------------------- Note added at 17 mins (2016-01-23 00:00:56 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Ik vergis me. Letterlijk: factor that is used in a formula to calculate a risk. |

Risk Assessment Explanation: Carried out by a Risk Assessor. Risk does not generally have a numeric value, so could not be calculated. Risk is a situation. This needs to be "assessed". Reference: http://www.hsdirect.co.uk/free-info/risk-assessment.html |

Reference: schatter Reference information: A 'schatter' is a statistical term In statistics, an estimator is a rule for calculating an estimate of a given quantity based on observed data: thus the rule (the estimator), the quantity of interest (the estimand) and its result (the estimate) are distinguished. There are point and interval estimators. The point estimators yield single-valued results, although this includes the possibility of single vector-valued results and results that can be expressed as a single function. This is in contrast to an interval estimator, where the result would be a range of plausible values (or vectors or functions). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estimator Een categorie van methoden die de statistiek hanteert om informatie te verkrijgen, wordt gevormd door de schattingsmethoden.
