I am a bilingual speaker of Polish (native) and English (near-native) with a master degree in Translation, bachelor degree in English and over 11 years of experience as a full time freelance translator. I have lived in the UK for 8 years.


My main specialisation is Medical translations, but I regularly work in the fields of Business, Financial, Legal and Marketing translations. During the last eleven years I have developed a range of specialised dictionaries which facilitate my work greatly together with my own Quality Assurance Process, which I apply to each assignment that I undertake. Prior to becoming a translator, I had worked as an English teacher (2005-2008) and an English tutor/translator (2008-2009). Having lived in the United Kingdom since 2008 gives me in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience of the English language and culture.

Being a constantly self-developing person, I am doing a massage course as well as studying nutrition, various alternative medicine therapies and learning Spanish. In the nearest future I would like to take up learning Mandarin for translation purposes.
