Since Trados is the de facto program requested by customers here in Japan.

And, a definite "No" since I have been asked to use a couple of CAT tools that clients have developed themselves for use in their own platforms. These have turned out to be absolute crap. Never going to make that turn again - 8 miles of bad road.

I only use CafeTran nowadays, even to translate projects created in other CAT tools.

If I cannot use CafeTran, I don’t accept the job anymore.

It’s my way or the highway.

Some of my clients stick to one CAT tool while others stick to another.

The more CAT tools you have and can use, the better it is.

'More the better' seems to be the rule here.

I use only one. I just don’t see the reason why I should use two. Except if the client requests the use of a particular CAT tool.
