Since nobody seems to be doing anything about this, I'll post this again:

1) In Firefox, if you enter the term to be searched in the "Term" text box on the top of the left sidebar of the "Web Term Search" page, pressing the Enter key on the keyboard, will not launch the search: you actually have to press the "Search" button (in IE, instead, you can just hit the Enter key)

2) If you look for a two-word term (e.g., "red line"), even if you had saved as default "Match exact phrase" last time round, the first time you perform the search, the results given will match all occurrences of either "red", "line", or both. Only if you click again on "save settigs and search", will the term "red line" be searched as a single string. (Note: apparently, the "Match exact phrase" checkbox retains its checkmark, but not its status, between sessions).

3) In any case, the default behavior should be an AND search, not an OR search: searching for "red line" and getting tons of hits for "red" and for "line" is hardly useful.

Tested with Firefox 2.0.6 under Windows 2000 Pro AND, under XP Home, on a different machine,, with the exact same result.

It is broken: please fix it.
