My client has sent me the TM in txt format. Is there a way to convert it into .tmw?

import it Nov 1, 2007

you can import the txt into existing or new tm.
in workbench, click file - import. select suitable import mode, existing translation units, new fields, then click ok. select the txt, then click open.
