I just installed WordFast on a new computer. When I do an Analyze or Cleanup on my document, everything looks like it is working properly but I do not get a new file with the statistics.
Can anyone help me get the report to display?

Did you enter a new license number

This might not be related at all but did you note the new install number and have you applied for a new license number at www.wordfast.net?
Did you reorganise all your TMs afterwards?
Regards, Gerard

Install # / reorganize
Nov 8, 2007
Hi Gerard and thank you for your comments.
I did not get a new install number but I did reorganize my TM. I doubt the reorganization influenced the problem.
It seems that the solution would be simple, if I only knew which button to push.
The cleanup works fine, but I get no Cleanup Report. The Analyze also seems to work fine, but again, no report.

Try to force Wordfast to create a new install number
Nov 8, 2007
Hi Edward,
Close Word and move the file Wordfast.cfg from C:\Documents and Settings\Edward Potter\Application Data\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP to your desktop.
Open Word and Wordfast. A new CFG file will be created. Go to the ? tab of Wordfast setup. Does it still state your former install number? If a new install number has been created, follow the procedure I described before.
Regards, Gerard

I found them!

They were in the C:\users\Edward Potter\documents folder.
However, I still do not know why they do not automatically pop up like on my other computer.
Do you think the file manipulation you mentioned is still necessary?

No need to do anything. Wordfast will automatically warn you when there's something wrong with your install and license number.
