I used to be an English teacher at the University of Technology in Poznan, I prepared numerous teaching materials on roads, bridges, air-conditioning for the needs of the University, and a course on environemental protection (as a team at PUT). For 11 years, I've been running my own firm, specialising in translations and teaching. During the years, I: interpreted at a conference at PUT (Crack detection with Karl Deutsch equipment, magnetic particle method) - twice, I also translated for some engineers at PUT (roads, car tests, belts, defectoscopes). At present, I translate for the teachers at the Faculty of Architecture at PUT on regular basis. I translate for developers and real estate agencies (different types of contracts, power of attorneys, offers, real estate market analysis, CCIM theses, descriptions of construction works and final finish works. I've had the chance to present Nieruchomości Wielkopolski firm and their offer in London, and show the foreign prospective investors around a number of properties in Poznan . I've translated technical specifications of a couple of construction projects, specifications for a leading facade manufacturer and distributor. In my translations I rely upon consultation with specialists in the field - the architects, the lawyers, the developers and subcontractors. My husband, being a lawyer, businessman, real estate agent and a CCIM specialist is often of assitance to me. Upon a customer's request, I can also offer my texts to be proof-read by a native speaker of English.
In 2009 I passed the exam organised by the Ministry of Justice and obtained my license of a certified translator. Since then I have been translating all sorts of documents for individuals as well as courts, police and the prosecutor's office: contracts, diplomas, certificates, powers of attorney, indictments, official notes, summons, judgments, invoices and many others. I've been interpreting in notatial offices, in courts, at the police station, in the Regional Office for Foreigners' Affairs, in mediation proceedings etc. At present I'm interpreting at the cycle of meetings on the integration of foreigners in Poznan at InterLinks Foundation.
