Żywiec – piękne siedemsetletnie miasto od kilku dziesiątków lat sąsiaduje z urokliwym jeziorem. Do tej pory jednak jego walory, z punktu widzenia wymagającego turysty, nie były w pełni wykorzystane. Zmieni to niebawem wspaniałe centrum hotelowo – apartamentowe „Laguna Beskidów”.
Firma KOMBI INVEST rozpoczęła inwestowanie w kompleks obiektów hotelowo- rekreacyjnych, które powstaną w wyjątkowo atrakcyjnej części jeziora. Zagospodarowana zostanie również Wyspa – od lat kultowe miejsce miłośników sportów wodnych.

Żywiec is a beautiful, seven-hundred year old town situated on the banks of an enchanting lake. Up until now, its attractions have not been fully appreciated from the point of view of a demanding visitor and holidaymaker. However, this is soon going to change with the emergence of a marvellous, new hotel – apartment complex “The Beskid Lagoon”.
The KOMBI INVEST company has already started providing capital for creating a complex of hotel and recreational facilities that will be built in the exceptionally attractive area on the shore of Żywiec lake. There are also plans for adapting the Island – a particularly favourite place for local water sports enthusiasts for many a year.
The fact that KOMBI INVEST complex will be situated in the immediate vicinity of the S-69 international express dual carriageway is definitely worthy of attention. What is more, for the inhabitants of the Tri-city, Łódź, Warsaw and the Silesian conurbation the above mentioned carriageway is the most direct connection to Bratislava, Vienna, Budapest and diverse health resorts in Croatia and Italy. The city of Krakow, as well as the popular Slovakian hot springs are only several dozen kilometres away. The Balice or Katowice airports are also merely an hour of drive away.
The Żywiec region belongs to the most renowned and popular tourist destinations in Poland. The recreational value of the nearby lake, with its summer abundance of sailing boats, windsurfers and kayaks is particularly enticing.
The Żar mountain, which is home to gliding and paragliding schools, a cable car and its favoured ski slope is about four kilometres away and easily seen from Żywiec – Zarzecze.
In less than half an hour drive you can get to the two largest ski lift complexes: one in Szczyrk and the other in Korbielów.
The picturesque surroundings of Żywiec Lake cut into three Beskid regions: the Small Beskid, the Silesian Beskid and Żywiec Beskid, are a perfect base for hikers to explore the region that offers a widespread network of countless bicycle lanes and numerous equestrian centres.
The fundamental part of the first stage of KOMBI INVEST venture, planned to be completed in three years time, includes the building of a first-class SPA and Wellness hotel as well as an apartment building complex, equipped with all imaginable luxuries. Guests will be able to use underground car parks, connected to their suites by a system of lifts and both the safety of their belongings and themselves will be guaranteed by round-the-clock security and electronic monitoring.
An indoor swimming pool will be at guests’ disposal together with a few outdoor ones. There will also be the possibility to rent different kinds of water and sports equipment. The very surroundings of the complex is going to facilitate and promote active leisure, and its dedicated enthusiasts will be provided with jogging tracks and bicycle lanes as well as pedestrian walkways with stylish benches to rest the feet for those hikers who wish to stop for a while to relax and admire the beauty of the environment around them. Tourist trails leading into the area of Magura and Gronie mountains run through the immediate environs of Żywiec, simultaneously being perfect for practicing Nordic walking or for mountain bike rides.
The so-called “Żywiec Sea” is a Mecca for amateurs of water sports and fishing. The recreational KOMBI INVEST hotel complex is going to live up to their expectations thanks to the character of Żywiec Island taking on a whole new dimension. Its oval – like shape, after some necessary alterations and covering of the whole area with rinsed white sand, is going to be the home for a sailing harbour, offering its visitors water equipment rental. The windsurfing school will train those who are keen to explore the attractions of this sport. What is more, a small amphitheatre is going to be built on the Island, and this whole captivating area will be connected by bridge to the other recreational grounds.
The second stage of the investment envisages the building of an immense ski hall (complex?) with ski and chair lifts as part of the essential infrastructure. Here is going to be established the only centre in Europe which will allow everyone to enjoy schussing down on natural snow all year round….and in summer, additionally, take pleasure in practicing water sports and delight in cycling along the woodland tracks.
Let us take one last look how beautiful it is going to be by Żywiec lake in the near future…
