IT(hardware and software related)
My name is Kasia Ganderska and I'm Polish, born in Warsaw in 1977, now living in Japan.
In 2001 I graduated from Warsaw University with M.A. in japanese filology and culture and in 2004 I finished my M.A. in liberal arts (japanese contemporary literature) at Saitama University.
Now I'm doing my PhD course in japanese literature at Saitama Univ. and work part-time as a web developer at internet provider company Birdview, Co. Ltd. .
Since I graduated from Warsaw University I started to do some translation jobs - mostly from english or japanese into polish, but sometimes also from polish into japanese.
As a translator, I specialize mostly in IT related jobs, but I have some experience in other technical translations too. For about 2 years now I'm registered as a translator and interpreter into polish at B-cause Inc (). I also sometimes do small interpreting jobs (mostly simple meetings) for Polish who do business in Japan.
I do also have some (but still a little though) experience in DTP and design - I did some DTP and book-cover design for National Institute of Japanese Literature. I also work there as a part-time researcher constructing japanese literature related databases.
My hobbies - I really like photography, I'm not a pro but if YOU want to take a look at my pictures you can find them here: .
The top page and database related pages are all my desing - this is my other hobby. Database is opened only when I'm home or live the PC on, but this is basically what I do for my PhD. |
