In 1981 I was granted United Nations scholarship that helped me to perform a scientific project concerning the influence of petrographic composition of hard coals onto yield of liquid products in hydrogenation process. The program of the project was performed in Pittsburgh Energy Technology Center, Bruceton Pennsylvania. During that period I translated many scientific papers and articles as well as took part in several conferences that concerned coal conversion technologies into gaseous or liquefied products.
Between 1997 and 2002 I have worked as Technical Documentation Coordinator for Gdansk Refinery Modernization and Revamp Project for 4 years being hired by American Engineering Company Fluor Daniel of Irvine, California USA and Fluor Daniel Contractors B.V. in Haarlem, The Netherlands. This activity helped me to improve my English.
Since 1997 up to 2002 I was hired by "Remontowa" Shipyard in Gdańsk. During that time I translated, and proofread hundreds of overhaul specifications for ships, boats, marine equipment and overseas structures.
My main translation area is civil engineering, ships, marine equipment and structures, air compressors and vacuum pumps, control systems components, automotive industry in general, axial fan units, fan unit water coolers, Glassfiber Reinforced Polyester products, IT technology, high pressure accessories such as valves, flexible hoses, tubes, connectors etc. I specialise in manuals, teaching materials and scientific papers and articles.
My prices are negotiable and my technical translations are fast and accurate. I'm available daytime mostly 6 days a week except for Sundays. Samples of my work, are available on request
