I am a certified translator and for about ten years was a successful legal and finance translator in a couple of reputable law firms based in Poland (details in CV). Now I am an independent translator and co-operate with law firms and international translation agencies.
I continue my professional career in the direction of law and finance but have also acquired expertise in the field of medicine.

I constantly improve my qualifications attending workshops and courses organised by TEPIS (a Polish translator association) and the Open University of Warsaw. Further, I finished postgraduate studies in translation (2005) and text reviewing and editing (2021) at the University of Warsaw. I am also fluent in French and translate general type of texts from that language. I am a reliable and an efficient translator.

In my free time I go dancing tango argentino at milongas as well as attend tango workshops. I also love listening to this kind of music at www.radiotangouno.pl.
I used to attend the school of music (the piano class) and still feel attracted by music subjects. Each year, on Chopin's birthday, I participate in an event celebrating that day (or rather: whole week).
I spend holidays and most of warm weekends riding bicycle with a group of friends in the Warsaw vicinity, the Polish lake district (Mazury) and abroad.
I like reading novels of Polish writers as well as foreign ones. Recently, I have discovered a British author: Margaret Leroy whose romances I find very moving. Regarding Polish literature, I have been reading historical novels by Joanna Jax.
I love cats and have adopted two from a Warsaw foundation Koty Spod Mostu.
Normally, I also give one cat a temporary shelter at my home till it gets adopted.
