Where will the guided tour begin, and how far that place is from Amersfoort Centraal railway station? We are going to come from Cologne by train (after flying from Kyiv to Colobne/Bonn). I would like to book our train tickets in advance, so it would be nice to know those details.

Hi Maksym,
I still need to discuss the details about the guided tour, I will update the page as soon as I know more.
The centre of Amersfoort is not very big though, so it shouldn't be more than 10 minutes from the station. You can leave your luggage in a locker at the station or go to the hotel first to check in (the hotel is about 10 minutes by bus from the station, but there are only 2 buses per hour, so leave enough time to travel there and back again).

Thanks for the info, Percy. Is my understanding correct that 3 PM has been finally decided upon (moreless)? In that case we will just leave our suitcase at the station. We want to walk around Cologne in the morning, so we will leave Cologne at 10:48 and arrive to Amersfoort at 13:34. I don't think it would make much sense to try and get to the hotel and back to the centre within an hour and a half; just to check in.
