An interesting and informative article for trainers, students, or indeed anyone thinking of studying translation.
However, as a working freelancer in the real world rather than cloisters, I had to laugh out loud at the notion of being able to "Put the translation aside for 48 hours" before revising it a second time...

The main reason I love being a translator is my opportunity to read latest information out of clients' documents.
I started my translation career by translating document free of charge. I enjoyed the sessions.
Now I believe that actual translation jobs are far better to educate myself, not any university degrees.
