SDLX Lite manual - where can I get it?

I was asked by a client to complete a project with SDLX Lite. I have downloaded a version a couple of days ago (I assume the newest one available) and while trying to copy some files to another computer (as a backuo measure), I wanted to get acquianted with the use of the program. I have found a page with documentation on the SDL site, but at a first glimpse I didn't see anything specifically aimed to SDLX Lite and using the program. I don't expect to have problems, as I have worked with lots of applications before, so I should probably get the hang of it quickly, but still ... I would like a manual to make things easier. Thanks a lot ▲ Collapse

I have found a page with documentation on the SDL site, but at a first glimpse I didn't see anything specifically aimed to SDLX Lite and using the program. Can anyone tell me which manual I need (or what steps do I have to take first with the program)?


SDLX Lite is a limited version of SDLX that only contains the Edit module of the application.

SDL have provided quite a few rather helpful How To documents on their web site:

I think you will find the "How to Use SDL Edit in SDLX 2004" document helpful because this deals with the part of the application that you work with. (Just ignore the first few pages that deal with setting up an itd file, you won't be able to do this in SDLX Lite.)
