It is really a pity that the translation contests in some language pairs can not start due to insufficient entries.
Would it be possible to grant each participant some, say 400 browniZ points, to encourage more entries?
Sincerely yours
Bin Tiede

I very much approve of your suggestion, Bin. I have also submitted entries to language pairs in the contests that, eventually, didn't make it to the voting stage and was wondering how to motivate people to submit more entries. Also, considering the fact for how little time-consuming and how little community-building activities (compared with a contest translation) BrowniZ point are given, I believe the contest entries (all submitted in the first phase as well as the winning ones in the second) should be rewarded in this way.

Why not basic users

I think that basic users should also be allowed to participate in the translation contest.

Hi Lalit,
Is this another misplaced posting? Which previous posting are you replying to?
Otherwise, you are welcome to become a member and to participate. I take the contest as part of the added value offered in exchange for membership fees.
