Reorganizing a tmx

Hullo,

I've sat here for more than two hours waiting for Wordfast to reorganize a Trados TM a client sent me. The tmx is 78kb, the txt file currently being created is 651000kb and counting... I wonder what's going on...

What seems to be going on, is that the reorganized file is full of repetitions. So many, that that I can't reorder them with tools in the Dataeditor in order to delete the redundant entries I I get a message that the TM is too big).

Help!

Dear Olly,

You can try to open the TMX file in Olifant and save it as Wordfast TM.

The program only pulled about 66 segments out of many many more in the Trados TM.
