Forced segmentation in Pro?

It looks like forced segmentation is not possible in pro? If there is a paragraph marker between segments, combining them will not work (Alt+E). This is the main reason why Classic is so easy to use with all kind of texts.

I can't find any sort of option for forced segmentation either. And, it is not unfrequent that default segmentation is wrong.

Another major deficiency of Pro.
