Hi All,

One of my clients provided me with a TM exported in tmx. I use Wordfast Classic on a MacBook. I can import the TM without any problems, but at the bottom it says "0 TUs" and so it doesn't recognize repetitions.
Since we don't know how to solve this, she sent me the TM in two other formats (Access and txt), but I cannot import any of those.
Why does it say it has 0 TUs??
What can I do to solve the problem? I'm not an expert, just a basic user of WF.

Why can't you use TM in txt format? Jan 24, 2011

TM in txt format is the natural format for WF Classic.
What is the problem with using TM in .txt?

Wf can't work with Trados txt TMs Jan 24, 2011

I presume that the txt TM does not work because it has been exported from Trados. It is a well-known fact that Trados txt TMs are incompatible with Wf.

@ JL01: As you can read in my post, I am talking about a tmx file, not a txt file. I wouldn't even be able to import a Trados txt file, since WF tells you it's a Trados txt file.

Yasmin found out there was one missing tag, and there was more than one source language in the TM, which isn't good for Wordfast.
