Hello,
I work with wordfast pro on my mac for a year now without any problem so far. When I tried to open the program this morning, it just wouldn't. I keep getting error messages. I downloaded the app again and tried with the newly downloaded app - the same problem exactly.
I add the beginning of the error report - please help, I need this program badly and I can't use wordfast classic since I have office 2008...

The first line changes the setting in Finder. The second line closes all open Finder windows, so that Finder will restart with the new configuration the next time you open a new window.

Wouldn't this trash all of the glossaries?
Dear John,
It would not if you do not have glossaries. But if you have some glossaries with no backups, there are two possibilities:
1- You can still open WFP, so use Export (Terminology > New/Select Terminology > Export).
2- You cannot open WFP at all, so open the "glossaries" folder in ".wf_workspace" and copy the backup TXT files now automatically generated by the latest version of WFP.
In both cases, you will be able to Import the TXT tab-delimited files later after re-installing WFP.
The third case is that you have an *older* version of WFP in which glossary txt files are *not* automatically created, so you need to copy the whole "glossaries" folder and send to WF Support to restore it for you. That is why it is usually better to have the latest version.
Kind regards,
Yasmin (WF)
