Basically when using wf classinc I can choose to use either the plus tools (free) which is browser-based or the online aligner for wf classic, which is also free and vrowser-based, pls. confirm these last things, thanks.
Here I am repeating what Dominique has mentioned earlier (see above):
"It doesn't matter which aligner you use, since all versions of Wordfast (Classic, Pro, Anywhere) use the same format for their TM."
So, use any of the three mentioned aligners provided by Wordfast to create a Wordfast Translation Memory, and this WF TM can be used in any of Wordfast tools.
Moreover, you can even use an external aligner provided by any other company to create a TMX TM, and it can be also used in any of Wordfast tools as well. That is why I usually mention Bitext2TMX and AlignAssist, and that is why Michael has also mentioned LF Aligner. In fact, there is a very long list of aligner tools to mention.

This depends on which combination (tool + server) you use.
In general, you would need a long URL, including IP + user name + password + port, and you might need a Workgroup ID as well. the IP could be that of the agency if the TM server is hosted by the agency while it could be of Wordfast TM server if the TM server is hosted rather by Wordfast. The links provided by Dominique and me show such options. Most of the options are good for freelance translator groups and for small-to-medium translation agencies.
On the other hand, very large translation agencies that has tens of both in-house and freelance translators or so many linguists worldwide should consider investing in Wordfast Server and should contact Wordfast (the company) directly for more financial and technical details.

when I have multiple source files and multiple target files for same client and I want to create a unique tm for the client, given I can only upload 1 source and 1 target file at aa time I guess I first need to create 3 tms out of alignment and then to put all the 3 together to make a unique tm I have to hit the merge function?

There is no such version as 5.35. You probably mean version 3.35x, which is 10 years old and totally unsupported. You can forget all modern sharing options with that version.

This forum is supposed to offer help solving problems, not to be a substitude for training.
TXML is the format for bilingual files used by Wordfast Pro and Wordfast Anywhere. You should do your homework and go through one of the tutorials for Pro and/or Anywhere, and ask more questions only when you've done that.

If you have a valid license, please login to your account at wordfast.net and then download and install the latest version of Wordfast Classic available at:
http://www.wordfast.net/index.php?whichpage=downloadpage
Now, as you are connected to the Internet, your Wordfast Classic will be automatically licensed. In the (?) tab of Wordfast Classic, you can see some hint like: Licensed to [your email address]. Installed N times. See http://www.wordfast.net/?kb=176-32 for details.
Then, download the Wordfast Classic manual on the same webpage (wf_en6.zip) and refer to Pages No: 39 & 40 of the manual to know how to use the VLTM.
