Hi there.

How do you delete unnecessary white space at the end of segment in Wordfast? It is a large document and is taking too much time to delete each white space at the end of segment. Please help me out.

Use Find and Replace all Aug 3, 2021

I usually use Find and Replace all of Wordfast. I also use the wonderful Find and Replace functions in MS Word during or after making the target document.

Filter, then find replace Aug 9, 2021

Hi,

I would use the filter bar to filter out all segments with a period followed be a space. Quickly review the segments, then find and replace all with a period. You could use a regular expression to be more precise with the filtering but I doubt you would have so many periods followed by a space in the middle of a sentence.

Try regex Aug 9, 2021

In Find/Replace window, check the Use Regex box and replace all.
Find what: [ \t]+$
Replace with: empty field

Symbols from left to right: left bracket, regular white space, backslash, letter t, right bracket, plus, dollar sign.
*It includes trailing tabs (\t).
