angielski term

President/Vice-Chancellor/Rector

angielski > polski Nauki społeczne Edukacja/pedagogika UE education programmes
Applications must be signed by the President/Vice-Chancellor/Rector of the higher education institution.
Question: in my opinion it should be one term in Polish REKTOR. Could you please confirm that the 3 English terms are actually synonyms and come from different English speaking regions/countries or am I mistaken. Thank you

a w Anglii zdarza się na dyplomie podpis rectora, który jest jednocześnie vice-chancellorem :-/
pikador Sep 20, 2007:
IMHO - you're right :) Rector - the head of certain universities, colleges, and schools. • Vice Chancellor - noun a deputy chancellor, especially one of a British university who oversees its administration - oba cytaty z www.askoxford.com

Yes. President and Vice-Chancellor are used in the US. "Rector" is not used in the US

Może zamiast "wicekanclerza" lepiej byłoby zamieścić "ZASTĘPCA KANCLERZA".
