I got this message when trying to save a big translated file in ppt.

Someone can help me solve this problem?

You need to split the file and possibly remove some charts which are using up too much memory.

If you are in 2.3 after receiving that error you can try going to Preferences under Edit, Memory Preferences and try increasing the amount of memory WF is using.

Same problem - not possible to increase memory (3.1) Nov 23, 2012

I get the same error message (Java heap space), although with a much larger file yesterday I had no problems.

I tried to increase memory, but it tells me I need to restart application, and when I do the Memory is just the same (256). So the increase does not work.

Can somebody help me with this problem? Thank you.

Just found solution - run as administrator Nov 23, 2012

The increase works if you run Wordfast as administrator!

If you are translating from an .rtf, first change it to a .doc or .docx. Then it'll work.
