During a hot restart, much of the existing wall film may have evaporated due to the temperature of the port. It's often necessary. increase the after-start fuel delivery slightly at high temperatures in order to reestablish the wall film on a hot engine. If this is done, just make sure to also increase the decay rate to quickly remove the extra fuel adder so that the engine does not run too rich after the wall film has been quickly established.
