"Fine arts" to określenie dosyć pojemne, ale w potocznym (i w większości przypadków - słownikowym) znaczeniu obejmuje właśnie sztuki plastyczne ("plastic arts" jest używane o wiele rzadziej) tzn. malarstwo, rzeźbę, ale czasem - w rozszerzonej wersji - również architekturę i inne sztuki (Webster:(1) "drawing, painting, sculpture and ceramics, or occasionally, architecture, music, literature, dramatic arts"; ale: (2)"artistic objects as paintings, sculpture etc. collectively").
Co do performing arts, to są one często wymieniane obok "fine arts", jak np. tutaj:

Niekiedy też, z drugiej strony, "performing arts" zaliczane są wręcz do sztuk plastycznych, jako pewien rodzaj żywej rzeźby.
