koksownictwo
KONTEKST: Masyw ceramiczny wykazywał ciągły przyrost objętości, skutkowało to istotnym wychyleniem rur wznośnych, zaburzeniem podziałki otworów zasypowych i króćców przerzutowych.

7. A metal grid or grating according to Claim 1, wherein the bars comprise separate lengths of sheet metal bent to the required shape, an assembly of such bars being held together by being riveted or welded to transverse -stays.
W opisie:
This invention relates to grids or gratings which are supported horizontally one above another in spaced relation for supporting layers of oxide or other suitable purifying material within the gas chambers or boxes of gas and coke oven purifiers and designed primarily for the removal of sulphurated hydrogen from the gases as they flow through the material an 1 d the openings in the grid or grating. (...)
In a further alternative, the grid may be a built-up assembly in which the bars of the grid are constituted of plain or corrugated sheet metal members bent to the required shape and secured together in the requisite parallel and spaced relation by transverse stays or straps welded to the bars or secured thereto by fastening members such as rivets, set screws or the like Such stays or straps may be provided at both ends and, if desired, at intervals in their length and at either or both the upper and lower surfaces of the grids Such sheet metal members and the securing stays or straps may be of stainless metal or of ordinary metal having an applied protective surface.
