buckwheat

bukwheat means gryka

kasza is not a popular or very well known dish in US and I am assuming in Great Britain. Here you would probably refer to it as cereal.

From The Net:
Hi all!
>I bought some kasha/buckwheat groats and have no idea what to do with
>them. I thought they would be good as a hot cereal, but wasn't very
>happy with the results (I just cooked them like oatmeal in the

Besides, I think that such Kudo tasks are hopeless - trying to find English equivalent terms for special foreign culinary creations is very much like trying to invent foreign terms for French cuisine terms. The English do not eat kasza gryczana or prawdziwki and if they happen to have a nib in Poland, they will remember these native dishes by their native names...
